Croatia Is Trying to Give Foreign Workers More Rights
The Croatian government has announced that it is seeking to provide international workers additional rights and more favorable regulations.
According to the authorities, they are trying to enable foreign workers to get benefits for 60 days in the event that their employment contract is canceled. Foreign workers will have the opportunity to search for employment in Croatia throughout this time.
Because they won’t have to fear being forced to leave the country if they don’t find employment, this approach aims to prevent abuse of foreign workers.
The Croatian authorities have stated that they also wish to increase the work permit validity term from the existing one year to three years in addition to the previously mentioned proposed step.
